Born in Delhi, I moved to Dubai when I had just about learned how to crawl and throw a fit to get what I wanted. I had a comfortable upbringing where I was lucky to have loving parents and sister, and was given freedom and exposure to learn and make mistakes.

I was a leader in high school. Aside from the power trip of being able to skip class or getting the younger kids to buy me my lunch, I realized early on that - in the words of Mr.Parker - with great power comes great responsibility.

University were the best four years of my life. I am forever grateful to my parents to give me the opportunity to study aboard, expand my outlook and broaden my mind to what existed outside the bubble of Dubai. I started my first venture with my roommate during my time there. It was the first step in the direction of my entrepreneurial journey.... I never looked back.

Today I reside in Dubai where I spend my free time, at the gym, playing sport (golf, badminton, padel or squash), reading or treating myself to a chilled pint. Want join me for one?

In 2018 I wanted to implement a CRM software for my sales team and I was unaware as to which would be the right one for my organization. I looked up CRM companies on Google and the results displayed on the first two or three pages did not necessarily cater to my requirement. Eventually, I went with a company that had been advertised on multiple websites as the best CRM of 2018. After weeks of meetings, I was referred to a system integrator who did the implementation for me. They had not done an implementation for a sales team in the BPO industry. It took them 4 months to create a simple CRM process. One year and several dollars later I realized that such a robust CRM does not suit my needs which were far simpler. I had made a wrong and uneducated decision due to the lack of necessary information, poor system integrators and wrong staffing.

I built Zoftware to be a catalyst to help companies through their digital transformation journey and anybody who wants to innovate using technology within their team, department, company or organization, should first think of Zoftware for their software requirements.

Data Direct was started by my father in 2002. The journey of Data Direct has been nothing less than humbling. I have seen the company go from a store room office in our apartment to an organization with over a thousand people operating in several companies in the Middle East.

During our infancy, we provided services in Direct Mail (those annoying booklets and pamphlets that would show up at your doorstep), data collection, advertising and agency services. With time and my father's vision, to identify and create opportunities in various different business verticals; we organically grew our services portfolio. Today Data Direct Group is a diversified multi services company that has businesses in various verticals catering to almost every industry.

Growing up, I had seen the struggles that an entrepreneur would go through and over time have conditioned myself to adopt the mindset of an entrepreneur and business owner to take Data Direct Group to the next phase.

As Dubai edges closer to becoming one of the most expensive cities to live in, cost of living has been increasing at a blistering rate due to which certain segments of the population are more impacted than the others.
I was inspired by Blake Mycoski - founder of TOMS - who in his book wrote about the impact of Social Entrepreneurship and how he had created a 'for profit' company that is built on a foundation of giving back to the community. TOMS today donates a pair of shoes to kids in Argentina for every pair bought by a customer.
Yalla Referral helps create an alternate source of income for people where they can earn a minimum of AED 400 per referral for various different kinds of products.
Although Yalla Referral is still in its infancy stage, we look to take this business model to countries where we can support residents to create an alternate source of income.

My business partner and I both come from families that have been in the business of selling jewellery for more than three decades and over the years we have witnessed the constant agony and frustration that customers have to endure when finding a piece of jewellery perfect for them.

It was watching this perpetuating anguish of customers roaming the local jewellery districts for hours, dragging themselves from one jewellery shop to another trying to find that perfect piece, which led to the birth of Carat Finder. A one stop shop where customers can view and securely purchase the finest pieces of jewellery available at the worlds most renowned and trusted jewellers from the comfort of their homes.

Our mission is to provide our customers with access to the most extensive collection of the finest diamonds in the world at the best price with the touch of a button.
